The Artisan Grove

GRSA’s Myōhō Creative

GRSA’s Myōhō Creative is more than a curated marketplace — it’s a tribute to the makers behind the craft. Rooted in our commitment to prioritize ethically sourced, U.S.-made, and U.S.-sourced goods, The Artisan Grove was created to spotlight the incredible talent of local artisans and small businesses whose work brings joy, meaning, and beauty into everyday life. Some unique products are sourced directly from source areas like Japan.

Every piece we feature carries the story of its creator — their heritage, their hands, and their heart — and we’re proud to offer a space that honors that artistry.

While we do offer their work for purchase, our mission goes far beyond the sale.

The Artisan Grove is designed to elevate visibility for independent makers, drive traffic to their own businesses, and build deeper awareness around the value of handmade, sustainable goods.

Denine Townsend-Igbokwe

I am excited to introduce Denine Townsend-Igbokwe, who is the founder and creative force behind Backwoods by Candlelight, a sustainable, non-toxic luxury brand specializing in handmade plant-based candles and non-toxic home fragrance products. Her creation arises from generations of handcrafters, farmers, and innovative creatives.

Inspired by the restorative and healing power of nature, a natural talent for blending elements that complement, and the cozy intimacy of candlelight and soothing scents, Denine began crafting candles to bring warmth, peace, and authenticity into everyday spaces.

Backwoods By Candlelight is a name that Denine came up with and held onto since 2015. She loved the “ring” of the name that seemed to sum up her life experiences; she always knew that she wanted it to be a candle brand someday. It wasn’t until 2022, after living through the events of the pandemic, that she made the decision to wind down her 22-year real estate career and take her creative endeavors seriously.

Always an aesthete, known for her culinary skills, hosting and creating warm, healing and inviting environments, Backwoods By Candlelight came back to the forefront of her mind when she decided to live her own life more authentically.

During Denine’s early childhood, while living in South Carolina, she and her siblings would spend all day under the sun exploring the backwoods. That is where she discovered her love of nature and adventure. Later in life, the adventures continued with travels around the world that imprinted memories, scents, taste and moments that would impact her creations through Backwoods by Candlelight. Many of her custom created fragrances are inspired by her travels and scenes from her life that she sums up in scent to trigger a special memory or the emotion of a moment.

With a passion for clean ingredients and sustainable practices, she hand-selects each material; from crackling wooden wicks to eco-friendly, plant-based wax blends—ensuring every Backwoods by Candlelight product is as safe and mindful as it is beautiful and fragrant. Her designs reflect a balance of rustic charm and modern elegance, evoking the grounding essence of the backwoods while offering a refined sensory experience.

Through her work, Denine’s mission is simple yet profound: to help people slow down, connect with nature, and create intentional moments of comfort and peace in any space.

ARNALDO Rosello

I am very happy to introduce and share the work of the extremely talented multidisciplinary artist, Arnaldo Rosello. A self-taught Cuban-American artist based right here in Miami, Arnaldo brings a bold, expressive energy to everything he creates — and I’m thrilled to be offering his work here.

Artist Statement
I am a self-taught, multidisciplinary Cuban-American artist based in Miami, Florida. My work spans painting, textile art, and mixed media, driven by a passion for repurposing materials and exploring diverse modes of visual expression. Portraiture is at the heart of my practice.

I create vivid, expressive depictions of both men and women, often focusing on the emotional depth conveyed through the eyes. These portraits are rendered using acrylic, oil paints, mixed media, and textiles, including upcycled denim jeans, vintage fabrics, and discarded materials. Each work reflects my interest in combining tradition with innovation, using reclaimed materials to breathe new life into portraiture.

My aesthetic draws on diverse influences, including Pop Art and Neo-Abstraction. I approach my work as a continual process of experimentation and self-discovery, allowing each piece to evolve organically. This exploration fuels my ongoing dialogue with color, form, and the human experience.
I believe that artists should express themselves freely through any medium or technique, embracing the evolution that comes with change.

In the glow of simple light, we remember to slow down
