Nkwenda is a hanging woven planter handcrafted by artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda. The women grow their own sisal plants, extract the fibers, then hand-dye and weave them into beautiful functional art—each piece made with care, tradition, and skill.

Woven from sisal around sweetgrass, Nkwenda carries a subtle natural sweetness and adds warm texture to any space. Hang it near a window, in a bathroom corner, on a porch, or as part of a plant collage wall. It’s designed to hold a 4″ pot, making it an easy, elevated way to bring greenery into your sanctuary.
